The organization recognizes the vital role of the young Filipino Pharmacist towards creating better health systems and better health outcomes.The IDEAL Young Pharmacists Awards (IYPA) is opened annually to celebrate our Young Filipino Pharmacists who have demonstrated passion and excellence in tackling the problems of the pharmacy practice. IYPA 2022Now on its second year, IYPA aims to achieve the following:Recognize the outstanding achievements of our young Filipino pharmacists which have resulted to positive changes in the Philippine Pharmacy PracticeInspire young Filipino pharmacists to uphold the IDEAL values: Integrity, Dedication, Excellence, Altruism, and Leadership.Promote the embodiment of the roles of a ten(10) star Pharmacist, namely: Caregiver, Decision maker, Communicator, Manager, Life-long learner, Teacher, Leader, Entrepreneur, Researcher, and agent of Positive Change

NOMINATION GUIDELINES
WHO CAN NOMINATE?
- The nominating party should be any official member of the Young Pharmacists’ Group Philippines Inc.
- Self nomination is not allowed
WHO CAN BE NOMINATED?A. Filipino citizens (including naturalized citizens between the ages of 18 to 40) are eligible for nomination, regardless if you are a member of Young Pharmacists’ Group – Philippines or not.By Filipino, nominees must either be:- Those wherever born, in the Philippines or in a foreign country, of
Filipino parents. In this case, the father or the mother may be a
natural born or a naturalized citizen of the Philippines or;
- Those, at the time his/her nomination was received by the vetting
committee, is a naturalized citizen of the Philippines and those
who have elected Philippine citizenship; or
- Those, despite having renounced his citizenship at the time his or
her bid was received by the vetting committee has one or both
parents who is/are citizen(s) of the Philippines; or,
- Those, despite living outside the Philippines as resident aliens or
immigrants of another country, have one or both parents who
is/are citizen(s) of the Philippines.B. Must be a licensed pharmacist
C. Must be a member of good standing of the accredited integrated professional organization (Philippine Pharmacists Association)
D. Must have no previous or existing criminal or administrative cases or known involvement in unlawful or unethical practices
E. Must be actively engaged in the practice of pharmacy
F. Nominees for 2022 must not have reached the age of 41 by December 31, 2021. Note: Seminars must have been attended, and awards and certificates must have been obtained prior to nominee reaching age of 35
G. YPG Executive Committee and Administrative Council Officers, as well as the members of the IDEAL Awards Secretariat and Screening Committees, are not eligible for nomination.
HOW TO NOMINATESubmit duly accomplished nomination forms to the IYPA Secretariat thru (email) by (date)
The following documents must be submitted:
● Nomination Form
● Portfolio
● Scanned Copy of PRC ID of Nominee
● Scanned Copy of Proof of PPhA Membership of Nominee
● NBI Clearance/Certificate of Good Morale of Nominee
● A good quality, 4" x 6" (10 cm x 15 cm), head-and-shoulders photograph of the nominee*Please send an email to the IYPA Secretariat in case of any difficulty in obtaining the documents.Nominees must disclose material facts and information whether favorable and or unfavorable to give an objective and complete profile of the nominee for the vetting committee.

(4) Representative from non-pharmacy professional fieldsAnnouncement of Winners:
● All awardees will receive a certificate of recognition
● All awardees will receive a trophy
